TACKLING JEALOUSY

  • Never think you're not good enough. This leads to thinking your boyfriend/girlfriend might find someone better, which makes you jealous.
  • Believe that you are good enough and unique enough. When you do that, it may help you calm down and relax. If you have high level jealousy and can't take it anymore, take a deep breath and think a good thought.
  • Avoid the mental attack by getting busy and working on some personal projects. A person that has a busy life seems very attractive.
  • You are brilliant, the one and only. Anybody else besides you is a downgraded model. Always remember that!
  • You will only ever get the love you think you deserve.
  • Tell yourself the truth. You may have to admit that the person who earned the promotion at work performed better than you did. Learn from your mistakes and start doing better. You'll have the next promotion in the bag.
  • Sometimes even telling that person can help. You and the person can deal with it together.
